The Belamar Hotel strives to maintain compliance with the World Wide Web’s Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 Level AA (WCAG 2.1 AA) on our website, and:

  • We have built our website using standard-compliant HTML and CSS
  • We have ensured that the website content is structured in a logical manner using informative headings and labels where relevant, and are usable by customers who use assistive technology/screen readers.
  • We have provided consistent navigation across the website
  • We have ensured that images have alternative texts and descriptive links
  • In addition, we will offer rooms with accessibility features, which may be booked through www.thebelamar.com.

Accessible Guest Rooms

Multiple guestrooms with a roll‐in showers or tubs are provided.

The accessible features of the accessible guestrooms with mobility features include: tactile signage, 32” minimum wide doors, lever hardware, a lowered privacy peephole, turning clearance within the room, electrical outlet adjacent to phone for TTY use, closet with lowered clothes rods and shelves, clearance adjacent to beds for wheelchair transfer. 

The accessible features of the guestroom bathroom include: a 32” minimum wide door, lever hardware, accessible lavatory, grab bars at the side and rear of the toilet, accessible accessories.

The accessible roll‐in shower and/or tub features include: a flush entry, grab bars, accessible controls, and an adjustable hand‐held spray unit.
